Ed Sheeran just admitted that he has a tattoo with a pretty huge spelling error, but it isn’t a mistake.
At a recent concert in Glasgow, Scotland, Ed revealed that actress Saoirse Ronan, who appears in the upcoming video for his single “Galway Girl,” is to blame for the error. Ed said he had her write the title of the song on his arm, and she purposefully wrote it wrong.
“When we were filming it I meant to get a tattoo of her handwriting saying Galway Girl from her point of view,” he told the crowd. “It actually says Galway Grill. G-R-I-L-L. She really took the p**s out of me — full on.”
He then added, “I haven’t actually told anyone that yet. I’m actually quite proud of her. It’s the kind of thing I would do.”
